What’s the difference between B2B and B2C websites?
B2B and B2C websites are similar because they both focus on selling products or services — just to different audiences. B2B sites need to focus on selling themselves to another business owner and often have a longer sales cycle, while B2C websites are selling to the end-user; depending on the product, they may have faster sales. The hurdles to make a sale with each are different.
Can we work together if we already have a website but want to update it?
Yes! We work with you to prioritize the items you want to update on your website and we also spend time at the start of your program strategically reviewing your website and sharing with you what we discover that needs improvements.
How will we see the progress of our website development?
We share progress updates with you in three ways. You’ll have access to our client project management software where you’ll receive updates as we complete different website updates and you’ll see all items in progress as well. We have weekly or bi-weekly client meetings where we’ll share what we completed in the sprint and you’ll also receive monthly reports and what has been completed and your overall program.

Typically a content offer takes about a month to create, from conception to a final product being published on your site. It can take longer, however, for more in-depth offers or offers that require web development.

Our programs work from points which means that as long as you have enough points in your program you do have unlimited edits. We want to ensure you have a design that is a true representation of your brand.
What do I need to prepare before talking with you?
Know what elements of your brand you want to update such as your logo, fonts, colors, website, and print collateral. Share who will be involved in the branding project and if there is a specific point of contact that will approve all work. Have an idea of your timeline and budget.
We already have a brand identity. Can you still help?
We’re always up for reinvigorating existing brand elements if that’s what you need. If you already have an old brand identity you think might need a little love, our strategists and designers can take a look to see how it stacks up against modern competition.

We work with the softwares you are currently using or we recommend HubSpot for marketing automation. If you are looking to change your email software, take a look at our HubSpot implementation, it might be something we can help you with.
Do you perform A/B testing to improve email campaigns?
Definitely. We run email tests for a variety of campaigns and offers. If it’s an evergreen campaign, we’ll test different subjects or copy in the email, see what generates the best results and implement it for the next campaign.

We review and analyze email open rates, click through rates, conversions, and bounced emails. The data from each email will tell us if we need to adjust our subject lines or call to action in the email.
Who will receive our emails?
We only email your current email lists or generate new lists organically or with paid ads. The message we send also depends on the campaigns we work on together and the goal of the campaign. For example, sending campaigns to marketing qualified leads would be different than sales qualified leads and current clients. Together we’ll develop an email strategy to ensure success.

Are the software programs you use for outreach included in the price?
No, they are not. In order for us to implement our full outreach strategy, it’s imperative that you have the proper tools in place. We can help guide you here, as well. LinkedIn has an utterly invaluable suite of tools that nearly any business prioritizing modernization and staying at the cutting-edge is making sure to utilize today, so don’t miss out on this opportunity.

How long does it take to generate results?
Typically, a full inbound marketing program is a minimum 10- to 12-month program. Months 1-2 are goal setting and foundation setup. By Month 3, you should be seeing significant improvement in your reach, engagement, and traffic growth due to the paid acquisition channels. Months 4 through 9 are build-out of lead-generating funnels and ongoing campaign optimizations based on what is working.
If you’re in B2B and see five- to six-month sales cycles, you can expect the same timeframe for inbound marketing, if not slightly longer.
If you’re in B2C or B2C eCommerce, you can expect a boost from ads by month 2 or 3, once we nail the target and messaging, if not slightly longer.
How much disruption will your work with us create?

What does your inbound marketing program cost?
To support products, divisions, or specific funnel goals and focus on demand generation with fully integrated campaigns across search marketing, social media, content marketing, strategy, analysis, automation, graphics, and more—programs range from a $8,500–$25,000 monthly retainer.
This price does not include the cost of buying the traffic from Facebook, Google, or other networks. Ad spend is on your own account, which is separate from our program fee. Whatever you pay for ads on Facebook, Google, etc. goes directly to them. We don’t mark it up.
Who will be the person we work with in our program?
You will work directly with a Program Owner (Strategist and Digital Marketing Consultants) and the rest of their hive team. The goal of the hive structure is to create a core team that can service all your needs.
Our hives use the Agile Marketing methodology, SCRUM, and apply it to produce tangible business results.

How will Uhuru work with our internal marketing team?
We specialize in working with established marketing teams, where at least one person owns the marketing relationship with Uhuru. We aren’t a transactional, outsourced vendor. What if I want the strategy completed in 30 days?
Uhuru’s proprietary Strategic Framework is the foundation for all marketing activities and provides guidance in the long term (12–18 months). It is a framework under which marketing decisions can be made, as well as a reference and guide for campaign development.
If the campaign launch time is compressed due to short-term objectives or time-sensitive initiatives, the Uhuru Strategic Framework can be implemented in 30 days.

Why is your program’s investment so high?
According to Salary.com, just to hire one marketing manager costs well over $100k with salary and benefits.
Add that to the cost of an SEO expert, a writer (or two), a web designer, a developer, a social media manager, an analytics person, and a marketing operations person, and you’ll be spending upwards of $500k a year just for the people that are doing the marketing.
