WeFunder focuses on business start-ups. WeFunder has been receiving a lot of publicity recently, earning it a mention on this list.

Believing that a focused crowd is the best for Crowd Funding AppsFunder is focused on funding mobile app development.
Quirky
Quirky is geared towards quirky products. It’s worth a look if for nothing else than to see all the cool gadgets.

My project was turned down by Kickstarter stating that, “Unfortunately, this project does not meet our guidelines. This isn’t a judgment on the quality of this project, just a reflection of our focus”.
