Usually author boxes are located at the end of the post and look something like this.

The Simple Way To Add An Author Box

The simplest way to add an author box to your WordPress site is to use a plugin. When searching the plugin directory for “author box” the top two results will be Fancier Author Box by ThematoSoup and DT Author Box.

1. Click Plugins from the WordPress Dashboard

2. Click Add New

3. Search for “author box”

4. Choose your author box of choice and click Install Now

5. Activate your plugin and customize your plugin settings

We use DT Author Box because it is clean and very easy to use. DT Author Box uses the biographical info and website link from your WordPress profile and adds a few additional options, making it very easy to customize your author box.
